If I buy a mask, and the nose is too big on the mask, is there a way I can make it fit or look right?

Probably your best bet is to fill in the inside of the mask's nose with some sort of putty so it becomes a closer match to the contours of your own nose.
yes, let me punch you in the nose a few times and in a couple minutes, it will fit just fine. ;-]
