Can I breathe ou of both my mouth and nose with a CPAP machine? Have nasal mask only.?

I told them during the sleep sudy that I have bad allergies and always have a nose which is partially stuffed up or sometimes totally clogged. I have only had the machine a few nights, but have been sleping better with it, but until I fall asleep, I HAVE TO BREATHE OUT OF BOTH MOUTH AND NOSE TO GET SUICIENT AIR INTAKE. Will this hurt the effectivness of the treatment? Can I breathe ou of both my mouth and nose with a CPAP machine? Have nasal mask only.?
you should be breathing out of both, as when you fall aslep, hyour nasal intake will automatically increase.
