Applaud your doctor's office policy. Sounds like there's no well waiting room and sick waiting room. Influenza is a respiratory infection, get it? Hence the mask. If you sneeze (or cough) long enough or hard enough, it can make muscles sore. I don't think it was your bones. Night sweats can be a symptom. And, yes, there are different strains of flu virus. Is the flue bad this year why did my doctor make me put a mask over my face?
its primarily to protect you and the people around you. since your immune system is quite weak when you're sick and there are pathogens(bacteria) that are opportunistic which means that they attack when your system is at its lowest point.as a way of protection, that's why they provided you with a mask.
Not necessarily worse. The doctor was doing his part in trying to keep you from spreading it to others in the office.
no, they are just taking good measures to protect anyone in the office, including other patients from flu.
you have a very bad case and the doctor is trying to prevent it from spreading. continue with all meds and contact the doctor if you have any questions or problems.
Gee, I wish my doctor would do that. I go in where there are small children sneezing all over the furniture. Better to be safe than sorry.
