This dream, what does it mean? (Stranger, wearing a mask, in my room with a knive. Swinging it and..)?

So im some hotel room, going thru some papers

when all of a sudden someone comes in with a mask

(like the one from Freddy vs Jason i think..the white hockey mask)

They've got this HUGE knive and swingin it at me

getting closer and closer yelling something i cant comprehend

but for some reason im not scared, not exactly thrilled eiither

but you know..

Then they take off the mask and its mee!

And 'im' laughing (not me mee, the other me, the more murderous looking one)

And then i wake up disoriented

Its not a recurring dream, not a nightmare either,

it doesnt really go that far but im really curious

Anyone have any ideas? This dream, what does it mean? (Stranger, wearing a mask, in my room with a knive. Swinging it and..)?
I'm not experienced in dream interpretation, but I think it means that you're opposing to something that you're doing, you're afraid of school, or you feel like you differ from everyone else. This dream, what does it mean? (Stranger, wearing a mask, in my room with a knive. Swinging it and..)?
Do you think anyone really knows the answer why?
Maybe it means ur scared or that happening
why would u want to get rid of a nightmare i love being scared
You have some sort of uncertainty in you. Projecting the other ';you'; in the dream and while you are being yourself as first person may reflect some feeling of being uncertain.

When you have this dream at a hotel setting, that may suggest about something you want to do in a private way. Being yourself holding a knife is a symbolic way to say you want to vent out your anger. However, you found out it is you and you were laughing. That shows sign of uncertainty.

It may be an identity crisis in the dream. However this confusion created by you basically reflect some feeling of guilt, uncertainty and anger within in.

You may be feeling anger or uncertain or even guilty about certain things in life and you vent it all out in this dream.
